  1. 2 cups raw pecan halves
  2. 1 tablespoon canola oil
  3. 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  4. 1 teaspoon chile powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  1. Heat oven to 300°F to 325°F. Combine pecan halves, canola oil, brown sugar, chile powder, and salt; transfer to an aluminum pan. Place pan over indirect heat. Bake until pecans are toasted, 35 to 45 minutes.
